ZINC EXTRA - 180 CAPSULES

Zinc is an essential mineral with many functions in the body. Indeed, as part of many enzymes, it is important in the production process of testosterone and contributes in this way to the normal testorerone content in the blood.  As a cofactor, Zinc plays an important role in the production of collagen, which is important in the maintenance of bones, hair and nails. Zinc is also essential for the proper functioning of our immune system because it is, after all, necessary for the production of thymus hormones and the release of vitamin A reserves from the liver. As part of the SODZn enzyme, it also acts in the body as an antioxidant, which means that it protects our cells against the harmful effects of oxidative stress.
Zinc Extra contains 22.5mg zinc citrate (= zinc bound to citric acid) per capsule. 
Zinc citrate is thus an organic zinc salt that is more readily absorbed by the body than inorganic zinc salts such as zinc oxide and zinc sulphate.
