Zinc is an essential mineral with many functions in the body. Zinc Extra contains 22.5mg zinc citrate (= zinc bound to citric acid) per capsule.
Zinc citrate is thus an organic zinc salt that is more readily absorbed by the body than inorganic zinc salts such as zinc oxide and zinc sulphate.
